And The Lord Said......Let there be WOOL

and there was a huge heaping pile of it.

I can't describe exactly how I feel right now, but I am choking back an intense desire to rip off my clothes and jump into this pile of wool...Oh yes, I intend to spin and sell it, so perhaps I'll hold off on that

It will make for some lovely yarnie dreams tonight...OKAY maybe one little puff under my pillow.

Yesterday was a brilliant day.....I took my first balls of handspun (and a few recent ones) and crocheted my face off. I could hardly go to bed last night, didn't even get dressed or leave the house. I think I even made an ass dent on the couch I was there so long....Didn't matter. I made things that I loved.

I have a new 40's hat shape that is to die for and translates perfectly with crochet and the handspun....I realize this will not be to everyone's taste.


And then this scarf (which sort of goes with 2 other hats I finished).....

On my way out the door...have to go to work you know. Working with Kim has been a blast and will be a continuous on call thing ---- just to keep a toe dipped in to the real world never hurt anyone!!!
