What's on today's menu?

Felting, fulling and wet messy goodness. This is the best reason I can think of to get up at 6:00am. As long as John can make the coffee, I can get out of bed, and nothing propels me forward more than the smell of really great coffee and the possibility of an entirely new design project.

I've always wanted to try housewares and have had these designs floating in my mind for the longest time. Nothing inspires the creative juices like a show jury just around the corner....ie: tomorrow.

Having just finished a selection of tea cozies I have decided to add a few little pillows to the mix.

Here's Toni's "Tree Cozy"---but she has to wait until after the Filberg jury before she can have it. Yes, I see no shame in my friends waiting for jury pieces.



Knit in a wool/acrylic blend, it will keep the pot warm, it is machine washable and all of its branches hold up very well. While we're add it, here's my favourite cozy......Aubergine.....



It's all about the shaping and getting it to hug the pot, I like to design them right on the pot. Only for serious tea drinkers as I haven't graphed a pattern for a 2-4 cup pot yet.

Well it's after 8:00 am now, time for the fulling....
