The best days are when you happen by a Salvation Army Thrift store and find, not one, but three incredible sweaters --just waiting for upcycling ---a new life. Inspired by my fuzzy felted lambswool treat, I spun a ridiculous ball of wool, completely made up of scraps of fleece in all colours ---VOILA ...a neck warmer and a hat together in perfect harmony ...okay I realize the colours are are a bit much, but it works.I've listed it up on my etsy site for custom finishing. I think someone will really love it.
I am working on another piece right now, but I'm doing a bit of spinning while I am working on the layout for the next one.
The yarn I am spinning is called peas and carrots...Not sure what I'll do with it when it's done but you'll be the first to know.
