You start with a fabulous ball of yarn, push it right up to your face, roll it in your hands like a ball of dough and finally, cuddle it like a new baby....
All the while thinking, what will I do with you?. That is the beginning, but where -----from there?
Lately, I have been craving a certain freedom that I find only in crochet. Don't get me wrong, knitting does it for me in a big way, but just recently I haven't been able to commit to anything but the wool and I'm just trying to "feel it"
The result was a wonderfully liberating week of scarfs, flowing, twisting, flying off the hook. Although the experience was a bit scary at first. For me it's always been about hats, scarves have always been weird rectangles.Now I finally have a scarf that suits my design sensibility --quirky--.
