On the way to Judy's last night for our long awaited knitting night, I walked right by this gorgeous little forested enclave. How exciting...I stopped, pulled out my knitting and sat on the grass. These rocks looked like a group of sea lions laying on rocks, not the stones themselves. Cool, enjoy the sun, sit and stay a while.
I don't take as much advantage of knitting outdoors. I should, I'm self employed dammit...The inspiration is not just what comes from inside.
The evening was wonderful (as usual), the knitting fruitful as we talked technique.

Interpretive reproduction of the Fiddle Head Ferns opening up on the treck to Judys...I love the way the ferns unfurl. Here are two of my new fern designs in baby size.
